Mental Health First Aid - Course Provider

Mental Health is a growing health concern that is 1 in 5 Australians will experience at some stage.
It can be difficult to spot when family member, friend or colleague is going through a challenging time and it is still surrounded in stigma.
Many people do not know what to say or how to offer advice when they do become aware of a persons’ mental health concerns. When people see someone with a physical injury , they usually know the basics of how to offer first aid or assistance. Mental health can be invisible until a person reaches a breaking point and then it is often daunting for those around them. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches people the skills to help someone who they’re concerned about.
You may decide to undertake the training if you have a friend or family member who struggles with mental health concerns You may decide to enrol in a MHFA course for your workplace. Understanding what your colleagues and staff members may be facing will give you the skills and confidence to encourage early help seeking and being confident in how you can deal with those around you and assist them to seek professional help if it is required. A workplace that is mentally healthy will have better productivity and staff retention. We offer courses that are online, face to face and blended – a mix of face to face and online.
